‘Maliwanag ang Pasko’ winners announced

FIFTEEN of the best-decorated households during the Christmas season have been declared winners by Meralco in its “Maliwanag ang Pasko” campaign.

The winning households will each get P25,000 cash and the opportunity to help the less fortunate by choosing partnercharity institutions that will receive the same amount from Meralco.

For Category A (801 kWh and up), winners are Gemma Bautista-Rens of Las Piñas City; Alvin Rebadulla of Marikina City; and Domingo Dalisay, Norma Lim and Carmen Suva of Mandaluyong City. Winners for Category B (351-800 kWh) are Alberto Almario of Makati City; Judith Osanna Garcia of Pasig City; Carmen Giron of Malolos City, Bulacan; Helen Guevarra of Caloocan City; and Monica Lau of Quezon City. Lastly, for Category C (350 kWh and below), winners include Liliosa Carmona of Meycauayan, Bulacan; Efren Coldovero and Jose Policarpio of Cainta, Rizal; Rosalia Habla of Alabang, Muntinlupa; and Paulino Luciano of Sta. Maria, Bulacan.

The “Maliwanag ang Pasko” program recognizes Meralco’s loyal customers who continue to value the Filipino tradition of celebrating Christmas by sprucing up through lights and spreading the spirit of giving through donations to Meralco charity partners.
