Two exhibitions are currently on show.
The Given Order brings together Jason Dy, S.J. and Anton del Castillo in a visual exploration of the different tangents of faith and tradition in our past and in our lives today. Curated by Ricky Francisco, it also features the works of Felix Resurrección Hidalgo, Juan Arellano, Pablo Amorsolo, Galo Ocampo, Ang Kiukok and Angelito Antonio, among others, from the permanent collection.
The other exhibition, titled What Do I Say to a Giant, features works in conversation with Nick Joaquin’s other persona as Quijano de Manila by Marc Gaba and Teaching Exhibitions. The exhibit curated by Thea Garing highlights Joaquin’s contribution as Quijano de Manila in the field of journalism, in the discussion of history and nationhood, and to the lives and practices of writers and other creatives that he mentored.
