 After Kris Aquino’s sound farewell in ‘ The Buzz’ last week, ‘ Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo’, a series starred by the Queen of all Media, has also finally come to say goodbye as it steps on its final week. Many were moved and saddened by the emotional message of Kris during her last day on The Buzz (June 27). Kris has emphasized weeks ago that for the duration of Noynoy Aquino’s presidency, she will leave the shows that could cause controversy for his brother. As for her primetime series which will set on its final curtain call this week, Kris can’t help but to be reminiscent of her KTM taping days. During an interview, she shared, “Mamimiss ko talaga yung bonding namin ng buong cast sa set. We’ve grown close with each other kasi ang tagal talaga naming magkakasama sa set. It’s an experience that I would carry throughout my lifetime. The lessons I got from our directors, co-stars, and staff are priceless.” The actress-host also added that even Baby James has learned a lot, “Comfortable na talaga siya in front of the camera. Siyempre, proud mommy ako.” Now that she has turned her back on hosting celebrity talk shows and has surprisingly announced the real score between her and husband James Yap, Kris is indeed bound to enter a new phase in her life. As Kris moves on into a new life trail, her character in Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo also embarks on an unknown journey as a whole new situation is laid down to her and her family. What does one have to give up in order to achieve a simple and less complicated life? The final week of “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo” will present events which only transpired for one day.
