 Meralco Chess Club conducted a simultaneous chess play with Grandmaster (GM) Bong Villamayor, a veteran instructor in one of Singapore’s chess schools and national director of the Department of Education’s Chess for Schools program. Invited to play at the event sponsored by Meralco employees were junior players JD Moje, Philip and Jap del Rosario, Josef Baetiong, Aldrich Alcausin, Raymund Masa, JR and Michael Lirazan, the RP Paralympics Chess Team, and kids from public schools.
