The Kids Choice hosts Robi-Domingo and Erik Nicolas with The Just Kids League Chunsa Jung Onyok Pineda Jayden Villegas Carlo Mendoza and Xia VigorMore Filipino families tuned in to the premiere of “The Kids’ Choice” as the show debuted strongly in national TV ratings and impressed viewers with noncelebrity families’ performances including sand art, bird tricks and hip-hop choreography.
The show recorded a national TV rating of 29% on September 1 versus “The Clash” that got only 18.9%, according to data from Kantar Media. Its reign continued on September 2 as it hit 28.8% while its rival show registered 20.9%
Hosted by Robi Domingo and Eric Nicolas, “The Kids’ Choice” is an original concept that features for the first time a panel of child stars called The Just Kids League, who critique non-celebrity families called “Fam-bato.”
Leading The Just Kids League is Xia Vigor, who made a mark with her performances in “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids” and her acting prowess in various Kapamilya teleserye.
Onyok Pineda, formerly the sidekick in “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” also gives his take on the performances of the “Fambato.”
Carlo Mendoza adds to the fun with his signature gigil and quips.
“Goin’ Bulilit” mainstay and “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids” performer Chunsa Jung brings her antics to a whole new stage as she gives her unfiltered comments.
Jayden Villegas, who impressed viewers in “Little Big Shots,” completes The Just Kids League.
Every episode, four “Fam-bato” showcase a variety of talents as they bid to be proclaimed as “The Kids’ Choice.”
