WHAT’S in store for tour participants? Aaron Domingo offers a preview:“Assembly time is from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. You will be issued a receipt, together with a Studio Tours ID sticker and a souvenir keychain. Then we will bring you to the preview room for a 15-minute presentation on the history of ABS-CBN. Afterwards, we’ll tour the museum and head to the different studios. This will take around 1 and 1/2 hours. We’ll then have an early lunch at the cafeteria before going to ‘Wowowee’ or ‘ASAP’ because the shows tape for more than three hours and the audience members are not allowed to bring in food or drinks into the studio.” Studio Tours requires a request letter for groups of 10 persons or more. Walk-in bookings for tours are also accepted, though not to watch a live show or taping.
“For the tour, we can accommodate them anytime, any day,” Domingo says.
“But to get into ‘Wowowee,’ we prioritize those that have reservations or are on the wait list kasi ang tagal din nila naghintay.” Of the 190 seats allocated for Studio Tours clients in “Wowowee,” 60 are reserved for balikbayan TFC subscribers. In “ASAP,” 30 of the 100 Studio Tours seats are for TFC clients.
