ABS-CBN EasyRemit general manager Raymund Abog met with Middle Eastern partners as part of the remittance company’s campaign to bolster its exposure in its areas of operations.
“We are making sure that we are aligned with our partners as ABS-CBN EasyRemit becomes a major player in the remittance industry. We have secured their continued support and together, we are ready to embark on bigger things in the service of Filipinos abroad,” Abog said.
ABS-CBN EasyRemit will infuse P100 million capitalization to expand its operations and upgrade its systems to accommodate introduction of new products and services. Soon, it will introduce the EasyRemit Cashcard, which works as a debit card which Filipino expatriates can send money direct to the beneficiary cardholder in the Philippines; the latter can withdraw from any ATM or use the card as a debit card. ABS-CBN EasyRemit Express, meanwhile, features real-time remittances with bills payment and E-load capabilities.
“ABS-CBN EasyRemit is always looking for fast and secure ways for our OFWS to remit their hard-earned money to their families. This is our way of honoring the heroes of our country,” Abog stated.
