Filipino Channel recognized its outstanding dealers and customer service agents during the annual Global Dealer Excellence Awards and Global Customer Service Excellence Awards at the Dolphy Theater in Quezon City.
TheArisa Magat was proclaimed Customer Service Agent of the Year and the team of Renan Becto was awarded as Team of the Year. In the regions where ABS-CBN Global operates, chosen as Regional Dealers of the Year were Dom Baylon of Australia, Au Cajucom of Canada, Adonis and Josie Nicolaides of Europe, Emy de Guzman of Skyfreight Forwarders in the Middle East and Larry Tiamzon of North America.
The Best in Customer Service, Best in Direct-to-Home Sales and Most Innovative Dealer awards went to Emy de Guzman, while Best in Merchandising was awarded to Dom Baylon. The Most Promising Dealer award was presented to Larry Tiamzon. The Best in Internet Protocol TV Sales and Most Passionate and Dedicated Dealer awards were conferred on Au Cajucom, who also won as 2011 Global Dealer of the Year.
Making the event more memorable were the words shared by ABSCBN president Charo Santos-Concio: “It is not enough that we meet our sales targets or manage our calls well. What is more important is seeing satisfaction on the faces of the people we deal with or hearing a sigh of relief from those who had a long and tiring day.”
In his closing speech, ABS-CBN Global COO Raffy L. Lopez said, “Excellence and passion are what we need to stay ahead of our competitors… May we all have enough of the two to keep us going for the rest of the year and the years to come.”
