Lopez Group of Companies Earth Hour On March 28 at 8:30 PM, the Lopez Group joined the rest of the world in switching their lights off for one hour to raise awareness for planet Earth.

Lopez Group Foundation Inc. initiated this year's Earth Hour activities by putting up a 20 x 20 feet streamer in front of Benpres Building, the main corporate headquarters of the Lopez Group.

Other Lopez Companies and Foundations also displayed their banners and tarpaulins at their buildings and office lobbies, including Lopez Inc, Lopez Holdings, Fist Philippine Holdings, First Gen, First Gas Power, Energy Development Corporation, Rockwell Land, ABS-CBN, First Philippine Industrial Park, First Balfour, Asian Eye, First Philippine Industrial Corporation, Bayan Telecommunications, Sky Cable, ThermaPrime First Philec, OML Center for Science for Climate Resistant Communities , Ang Misyon, Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, Inc., and Lopez Group Foundation, Inc.

As part of their awareness campaign, the OML Center for Science for Climate Resistant Communities held an open Forum on  Climate Change in Siliman University in Dumaguete.
