BenCab's 'Search'“The Search” (1984) was one of 18 works exhibited by National Artist Benedicto Cabrera (BenCab) at the Lopez Memorial Museum 29 years ago this month.

The accompanying text, which appeared in The Philippine Tribune in 1986, read: “Benedicto Cabrera (BenCab) will exhibit his selected acrylic works on paper at The Gallery of the Lopez Memorial Museum, Chronicle Building, Meralco Avenue in Pasig, May 17 to June 16.” Chronicle Building is the former name of the Lopez Group headquarters.

“The Search” is now part of chairman emeritus Oscar M. Lopez’s collection and may still be viewed at the museum. (Source: Mercy Servida)
