Knowledge Channel’s learning series on financial literacy presents the basic concepts of income, savings and consumption for Grade 9. Together with Jairus Aquino, Sharlene San Pedro and Joaquin Reyes, “Estudyantipid” aims to teach the youth to invest. A collaboration between KCh and Insular Foundation, “Estudyantipid” airs on October 7 at 11:40 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The new episode ofSeason 3 of the educational video series “Puno ng Buhay” features basic science concepts suited for Grade 3 and stars Khalil Ramos, Michelle Vito and CJ Navato. In 2011, K Channel partnered with the Philippine Tropical Forest Conservation Foundation in developing “Puno ng Buhay” Season 1 to help promote increased awareness of the environment among young learners. The second season in 2014 was relevant to subjects taken up in the formal and alternative learning systems.
“Puno ng Buhay” airs on KCh’s curriculum block at 8:20 a.m. and 1:20 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday until October 14.
Meanwhile, two of KCh’s 17th-year offerings, “Agri-COOLture” and “MathDali,” can now be viewed on iWant TV! Join Enchong as he learns fish farming, proper handling of fishing equipment, water management, selecting and raising stock, and digging up know-how to accurately yield good crops in “AgriCOOLture.” “MathDali” revolves around the story of Robi (played by Robi Domingo), a math enthusiast who helps Igi Boy Flores, Vic Robinson III and Joj and Jai Agpangan overcome their fear of math.
