Rosa and Biñan, on separate occasions, commended Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI) for its programs and projects that are meant to uplift the quality of education.
DepEd Sta. Rosa Schools superintendent Helen Ramos acknowledged KCFI’s “education initiatives that have positively influenced the development of learners and the delivery of quality and in clusive basic education” in the division.
KCFI has in the past provided Sinalhan Elementary School (ES) and Pulong Sta. Cruz ES with access to Knowledge Channel’s curriculumbased on-air broadcast and a one-day teacher training on maximizing the use of videos in classroom learning.
Meanwhile, DepEd Biñan Schools superintendent Hereberto Miranda is thankful that five of his schools have been recipients of Knowledge Channel’s education television systems with an external hard drive of more than 1,000 educational videos, games, session guides and other learning materials.
Five schools in the division of Biñan are also scheduled to participate in KCFI’s teacher training program called LEEP, or Learning Effectively through Enhanced and EvidencedBased Pedagogies. These are San Vicente ES, Malaban East ES, Loma ES, Southville 5 ESTimbao and Malaban ES.
