(KCFI) teamed up with the Department of Science and Technology-NCR (DOST-NCR) and Philippine Foundation for Science and Technology (PFST) to produce a new science show that will air soon on knowledge Channel.

KCFI signed a memorandum of agreement with DOST-NCR and PFST at the Science Centrum in Marikina City to formalize its partnership in creating educational videos that will benefit students and teachers.

According to PFST executive director May Pagsinohin and DOST-NCR regional director Jose Patalinjug III, they are happy with the partnership and reiterated that the purpose of the project is to improve and promote science and technology education in the Philippines.

“Science and technology comes across almost all sectors. Almost all of our activities are covered by science and technology,” said Patalinjug. He noted that the purpose of creating the educational videos is to inspire children to take up science and technology courses for the country.

Pagsinohin added: “We hope to continue and have more joint projects with them [KCFI and DOST] para sa education…para sa kabataan at sa teachers para ma-improve yung science education sa ating bansa.” (Story/Photos by: Azrael Gonzales)
