(ALKFI) and Investments in Loving Organizations for Village Economies (ILOVE) Foundation sealed a partnership with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

The agency committed to provide free services from PRC-registered professionals to the communities served by ALKFI and ILOVE Foundation. These professionals include doctors, engineers, teachers, social workers, agriculturists and architects, among others.

“Ang kino-commit namin dito ay ang serbisyo namin na libre. Ibig sabihin, kapag nangangailangan ng doktor, the chapter in that area could be tapped to help. Kapag may medical mission, may dental mission, may mga chapter iyan all over,” PRC commissioner Yolanda Reyes said.

Present in 24 areas nationwide, ALKFI’s environmental arm Bantay Kalikasan and ILOVE Foundation expressed gratefulness for the opportunity to collaborate and extend more assistance through the agency’s members.

“It brings the service to the communities, because we want to empower them, we want to improve the quality of lives of the Filipinos,” said ABS-CBN trustee Charo Santos-Concio. (Story/Photos by: Eva Mae Nares)
