When working with the youth and communities, there are many milestones that one wants to mark in order to keep track of how far they have come. In the Philippines, there are a few significant birthdays to celebrate and one of them is the seventh year.
Since Ang Misyon began in 2012, the vision to reach excellence in music for a better Philippines has remained clear. To showcase how the children have grown in Ang Misyon’s music programs, the Orchestra of the Filipino Youth (OFY)— Ang Misyon’s main performing arm—will have a concert on October 27, 2019, 3 p.m., at Hyundai Hall, Areté, Ateneo de Manila University
Catch the OFY perform classical pieces by Richard Wagner and Gustav Mahler, and renowned compositions by Filipino artists. This concert is for free, but ticket reservations are highly recommended.
