LizQuen makes sweet comeback via ‘Dolce Amore

Liza Soberano and Enrique GilLiza Soberano and Enrique GilLiza Soberano and Enrique Gil return to primetime to give viewers a taste of love’s sweetness in ABSCBN’s newest romantic drama.

The LizQuen tandem takes on “Dolce Amore,” the story of two souls in search of who they really are, who will be brought together by destiny and feel a connection with each other.

Liza will portray Serena, a young girl raised in Italy. Though she lives the good life, she cannot shake off the feeling that an important part of her identity is missing—the truth about where she came from.

The character of Enrique, Tenten, grew up suffering from the pain of his real parents’ rejection. A hardworking raketero, Tenten takes on different jobs to help his adoptive family.

Serena travels to the Philippines, a country she had heard about from her Filipina nanny. She meets Tenten, with whom she will discover a sense of belonging and explore the greatest adventure of all.

Matteo Guidicelli, meanwhile, will take on the role of Giancarlo, Serena’s best friend.

Playing Liza’s adoptive parents are Cherie Gil (Luciana) and Ruben Maria Soriquez (Roberto), while Edgar Mortiz (Dodoy), Rio Locsin (Paps) and Kean Cipriano (Binggoy) will depict Enrique’s adoptive family.

Also included in the “Dolce Amore” cast are Sunshine Cruz, Andrew E and Frenchie Dy.
