ABS-CBN is giving its audience a more intimate viewing experience with its new teleserye and reality shows that tell the story of the Filipino as revealed at the network’s “The Front Row Experience” trade event at the Marriott Hotel.
The network will find its next big star through its grand audition show, “Star Hunt.” Meanwhile, “Pinoy Big Brother” makes its return to TV later in the year. “Kid’s Choice,” an original concept game show where kids will be the judges, will premiere this year.
Prime time shows will continue to give Kapamilya stories they can relate to and aspire for. Leading the block is “Halik”(see story on this page).
Other shows to watch for are “Ngayon at Kailanman” starring Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto and “Playhouse” with Angelica Panganiban and Zanjoe Marudo.
Rounding out the prime time viewing experience is the return to Philippine TV of Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo in “Starla,” and of “Meteor Garden” on August 20.
Kapamilya will also get an exclusive look at the red carpet of the most glamorous evening in the Philippine entertainment industry, “ABS-CBN Ball 2018: Share the Love,” on the Metro Channel.
The trade event also showcased what’s in store from other ABSCBN units: the “KathNiel” starrer “The Hows of Us” from Star Cinema and “Exes Baggage” featuring Angelica Panganiban and Carlo Aquino from Black Sheep, the newest brand under ABS-CBN Films.
Integrated Sales head August Benitez said that ABS-CBN “will never forget the personal and physical touch,” which is why the network is now leading the industry to the next frontier—experiential entertainment—with its events across the country and the world and the opening of ABS-CBN Studio Experience in TriNoma.
