Jose Mari ChanRing in the holiday season with iconic songs that have become synonymous to Christmas in the Philippines in ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra Plays the Music of Jose Mari Chan on December 16 at the Solaire Theater.

Composed of 42 musicians under the baton of maestro Gerard Salonga, the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra was established through the collaborative effort of ABS-CBN and First Philippine Holdings Corporation.

Under the baton of guest conductor Louie Ocampo, the orchestra will perform some of the most memorable music that Chan made.

The audience will revel in live performances of Chan’s compositions, among them “Beautiful Girl,” “Please Be Careful with my Heart,” “A Love to Last” and “Can We Just Stop and Talk a While,” to be sung by Chan himself and guest artists like Jona, Bituin Escalante, Juris, Markki Stroem, Acapellago, Migz Haleco and Vocal Synergy.

The program will be capped by Chan’s iconic holiday compositions, including “Christmasin Our Hearts,”“Christmas Children”and “A Wish on Christmas Night.”

The ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra Plays the Music of Jose Mari Chan will have a matinee at 3 p.m. and a gala show at 8 p.m. The show is directed by ABS-CBN Events head Mickey Muñoz.
