‘Ikaw ang Liwanag at Ligaya’ racks up millions of views with stories of light and joyABS-CBN’s 2020 Christmas ID “Ikaw ang Liwanag at Ligaya” recorded 2.5 million views on Facebook and 1.3 million views on YouTube for a total of 3.8 million views less than 24 hours after its launch on Dec. 1.
“Ikaw ang Liwanag at Ligaya” features Kapamilya stars with ABS-CBN chairman Mark L. Lopez, president and CEO Carlo L. Katigbak and COO of broadcast Cory Vidanes.
“Ikaw ang Liwanag at Ligaya” is also the theme of the ABS-CBN Christmas concert happening on Dec. 20, 7:30 p.m.
The Christmas ID 2020 was created by the ABS-CBN creative communication management division headed by Robert Labayen, Johnny de los Santos, and Vidanes. The lyrics of “Ikaw ang Liwanag at Ligaya” were written by Labayen and Love Rose de Leon with music by Thyro Alfaro, and featured the voices of 20 Kapamilya artists.
It was a collective effort by Kapamilya stars, ABS-CBN News and TeleRadyo anchors and reporters and regional MOR DJs.
“Ikaw ang Liwanag at Ligaya” also celebrates the unwavering public service of ABS-CBN Foundation Inc. with Ernie Lopez and Berta Lopez-Feliciano, and Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. led by Rina Lopez-Bautista.
Catch the “Ikaw ang Liwanag at Ligaya” Christmas special live on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z Ch. 11, TFC and iWant TFC on Dec. 20.
