WTT returns to Palo Alto

INAEC president Benjamin R. Lopez INAEC president Benjamin R. Lopez The HR Council-Lopez Lifelong Wellness Walk the Talk (WTT) made a return visit to the Palo Alto Leisure and Residential Estates in Baras, Rizal on February 24, 2018.

Lopez Group Foundation Inc. (LGFI), Lopez Inc., Adtel, INAEC and Lopez Holdings Corporation sponsored the walk. Palo Alto last hosted the WTT in 2012.

LGFI’s Monica Tan gave a short talk on the book drive for Marawi City, a project of LGFI and Ortigas Library. In this initiative, Lopez Group employees are encouraged to donate books that will help benefit the young children and communities of Marawi.

August Villalon of the Energy Development Corporation Disaster Preparedness and Response Unit held a safety briefing to prepare the participants for the walk.

The main attraction of the venue was Palo Alto Falls, which the walkers were able to see up close

For this edition of the WTT, First Balfour took charge of the body mass index monitoring of several participants; this is part of the organizers’ efforts to continuously improve this wellness undertaking. (Story/Photos by: Gerbs de Castro)
