‘Local Legends’ airs on ABS-CBN “Local Legends,” the award-winning program produced by ABS-CBN DocuCentral, can now be watched on ABS-CBN every Friday after “Bandila.” The first episode, “Bandurria,” was about the history of guitar-making in San Antonio, Pampanga; the piece won a silver medal last year in the New York Festivals World’s Best TV & Films. Also to be featured are Batad’s rice wine on May 10, Masbate’s corned beef on May 17, Las Piñas’ jeepney on May 24 and Kalinga’s weaving on May 31. “Local Legends” first aired on ANC. It recently won a bronze medal at the NY Festivals, this time for the “Karne Norte” episode.
