Happy Valentine’s Day!
When you get to my age, you realize that the secret of good health and happiness is a commitment to love: we all need to love one another. I teach this to my whole family. You want proof? I have eight children and 28 grandchildren!
Connie and I are proud of our children, with all that they have accomplished, but we make it a point to have a family dinner every Friday. And because I consider you as part of the Lopez family, I make it a point to blog at least once a week to give you some words of advice or inspiration.
The technology never ceases to amaze me. I wish I had discovered this thing sooner. But as I said previously, it’s never too late to start. Because my dinner table isn’t big enough to fit every employee in the Lopez Group of Companies, please allow me to have a virtual “dinner conversation” with you once a week — even though you might be reading this during breakfast or lunch time.
With email and blogs I can communicate with you anytime, right?
We must remember that communication is a two-way process. I need to get your input so we can have a real conversation. I ask you to find time to read my messages, and give me feedback. Don’t be afraid. I want to know what you think. What would you like me to talk about? What concerns do you have at work? How can we make sure that you become the most productive member of our Kapamilya?
I only ask that you be open-minded and responsive to our discussions. Wishing you a day filled with love and happiness.
