Casa Mercedes FanCasa Mercedes FanChristmas is nipping at your heels, but the traffic situation means you can’t wander all over the metro for the most precious and meaningful presents for your loved ones that you can find. As we enter the home stretch, give yourself a break and narrow it down to these sure crowd-pleasers.

ABS-CBN Publishing

ABS-CBN Publishing’s upcoming titles will make good stocking stuffers especially for parents and film buffs. “How to Raise a Superstar” by Niña Corpuz is not just for moms who want their children to shine. It also talks about chasing dreams and dealing with failure, serving as an inspiration to dreamers who aspire to be superstars in different fields. Meanwhile,“Pro Bernal, Anti Bio” is an uncensored memoir that refuses to be a tribute with the late National Artist for Film Ishmael Bernal’s own personal writings as well as accounts from his friend Jorge Arago and pop historian Angela Stuart-Santiago. “How to Raise a Superstar” was published in partnership with Working Mom and “Pro Bernal, Anti Bio”with Friends of Bernal. Both titles will soon be available in leading bookstores.
