In this season of reflection and gratitude, I am reminded of the business challenges we continue to face across the Lopez Group within the tense political and economic landscape of our country today.
At the same time, the world around us is changing at a pace none of us have witnessed before. We see the intensifying impacts of climate change in all parts of the world and in our own communities, and we feel the pressure of global instability, geopolitical tensions and technological disruption. Yet, amid these uncertainties, I also see inspiring signs of courage, innovation and possibility. I see them in the way our teams respond to crises with compassion and competence, in how we continue to pioneer renewable energy solutions, in our sustained efforts to care for our environment and uplift the communities we work with, and in the steadfast commitment to integrity and service that has defined the Lopez Group for generations.
This year reminded us that progress is rarely linear. There are breakthroughs and setbacks, moments of clarity and moments of uncertainty. But our chosen path has never been clearer. Every initiative that reduces emissions, restores ecosystems, strengthens governance or enhances community resilience is a meaningful step toward the future we want to leave behind for our children and for generations yet to come.
What gives me the most hope is the spirit with which our people show up every day—with creativity, humility and a deep sense of responsibility not just to the company, but to the country and to the planet. It is this spirit that will carry us through the next decade of transformation, one that will demand bold decisions, enduring partnerships and an unwavering belief in the good we can collectively accomplish.
As we celebrate Christmas, may we find time to reconnect with the values that ground us: family, faith, love of country and care for the environment. Let this season renew our sense of purpose and remind us that despite the many challenges ahead, we have within us the capacity to shape a future that is truly regenerative and hopeful. Through your work and daily choices, we continue to move closer to our shared mission of forging collaborative pathways toward a decarbonized and regenerative future.
From my family to yours, I wish you all a blessed Christmas and a joyful, meaningful New Year. May 2026 be a year of renewed strength, deeper collaboration and continued progress toward a brighter future for all.
