The HR Insights participants with the KidZania staffThe Lopez Group HR Council introduced a new learning and development venue for its members via the inaugural session of HR Insights.

HR Insights differs from the regular general membership meeting which the HR Council holds every quarter as a learning session. The new program makes use of a more interactive and hands-on experiential approach in educating its participants about a featured topic.

The draw of HR Insights was proven when the HR Council had as its featured presentor the newest ABS-CBN venture, Kid- Zania Manila. KidZania is an educational theme park located in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig that is set to launch soon.

The participants were oriented about the story, background and fun elements of KidZania. They were treated to a taste of some of the activities that kids would enjoy in KidZania— some became farmers for a day, others took on the role of scientists and made lava lamps, and a third group became bakers and made their own special cupcakes.

As part of the learning experience, the attendees were empowered to understand and tackle HR-related case studies related to KidZania. Of course, there were also games and quizzes, with the KidZania staff handing out lots of prizes to the winners. (Story/Photo by: Dimpy Jazmines)
