HR Council members pose for a class photo with speaker Romina CabochanThe Lopez Group HR Council held its quarterly HR Insights learning session, themed “The Future of Leadership Development in the Digital Age,” on August 24.

The event was sponsored by Energy Development Corporation and held in its corporate office. The session was facilitated by Development Dimension International master trainer Romina Cabochan, who challenged the Lopez Group HR practitioners to “reimagine learning.”

Cabochan highlighted the importance of preparing today’s leaders to continue to be relevant and competitive in a future that is increasingly uncertain and volatile. She shared current and future trends in leadership development and highlighted top factors that drive behavior change. 

Cabochan also presented five fundamental leadership approaches that will continue to make a difference— classroom, learning mash-up, measurement plan, manager involvement and “red thread.” She ended the session with a game that illustrated how HR can utilize technology in learning.
