Moira dela Torre introduces her single “Kumpas,” her comeback to recording that also serves as the official soundtrack of the ongoing ABS-CBN Entertainment series “2 Good 2 Be True” (“2G2BT”).
The song was inspired not just by the series but also by the real-life love story of lead stars Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
“Hindi lang ito sa synopsis ng ‘2 Good 2 Be True’ nakabase, but sa documentary ng ‘KathNiel,’” revealed Moira at the “2G2BT” grand media conference where she first performed the song. “It was really made for KathNiel and ‘2 Good 2 Be True.’”
Released under Star Music, the song talks about someone special being one’s compass— their guide when lost, the bright hue in shades of dullness and their savior amidst every storm.
