ABS-CBN launches Class Project, a docu competition for studentsABS-CBN launches Class Project, a docu competition for studentsCollege student filmmakers who are hungry for the chance to showcase their storytelling and visual skills to a wider audience can now submit their works to the Class Project: Intercollegiate MiniDocumentary Competition.

Now on its third year, Class Project is a partnership of ABS-CBN with Knowledge Channel and the Philippine Association for Communication Educators (PACE). It aims to encourage students to produce documentaries depicting the lives of Filipinos and give them exposure through various ABS-CBN platforms.

The students behind the top three entries will also receive cash prizes of up to P30,000 and trophies.

Eligible college students from PACE member-schools can submit relevant mini-documentaries that feature Knowledge Channel’s values of social justice, passion to serve, commitment to holistic learning, integrity and nationalism. Total running time should be around 12 minutes to 15 minutes. Deadline for entries is November 29, 2019.

Last year’s top three documentaries have aired on Knowledge Channel, ANC and soon on ABSCBN. The winning films, plus seven other finalists, are also available on iWant.

Winners of this year’s competition cycle will be awarded during Pinoy Media Congress Year 14 in 2020, another joint project of ABS-CBN and PACE.
