IWantTFC has unveiled its lineup of upcoming originals for 2022, including “He’s Into Her” season two, Janine Gutierrez and Lovi Poe’s queer romance, and Angelica Panganiban’s series about moving on, in its “iWantTFC Unwrapped” event livestreamed on ABS-CBN’s social media pages on Dec. 10, 2021.
Seven originals comprise the first batch of originals coming to iWantTFC in 2022, with more in the pipeline.
In the second season of “He’s Into Her,” Max and Deib (Belle Mariano and Donny Pangilinan) face the joys and challenges of being in a new relationship, while a teen barkada learns about life and love in “Tara, G!” starring Daniella Stranner, Anthony Jennings, Kaori, Vivoree, JC Alcantara, Zach Castañeda and CJ Salonga.
Janine and Lovi will be teaming up in their first project together, “Sleep With Me,” an inter-abled queer female romance.
Angelica headlines the miniseries “The Goodbye Girl” based on the book of the same name by Noreen Capili. Its cast is composed of Loisa Andalio, Ronnie Alonte, Maris Racal and Rico Blanco, as well as Barbie Imperial, Elisse Joson, JC de Vera, RK Bagatsing, Turs Daza and Joshua Colet.
“Click, Like, Share’s” third season, which will star Belle, Elmo Magalona, Jane Oineza, JC Alcantara, Jerome Canlas and Vivoree, will continue to promote responsible social media use.
Francine Diaz will be paired with BGYO’s Akira Morishita and The Squad Plus’ Ashton Salvador and KD Estrada in “Bola Bola,” an adaptation of Anna Geronga’s bestselling book.
Sylvia Sanchez and Ria Atayde’s mom-daughter tandem shines in iWantTFC’s Mother’s Day offering, “Misis Piggy.”
The “iWantTFC Unwrapped” event featured a live production number from “DonBelle” as well as the trailers for “F4 Thailand” and ABS-CBN shows such as “KathNiel’s” “2 Good 2 Be True,” “Darna: The TV Series,” “The Broken Marriage Vow” and “Love in 40 Days” which will be seen in advance on iWantTFC.
Soon, iWantTFC will stream “Kun Maupay Man It Panahon” (“Whether the Weather Is Fine”), which stars Charo Santos-Concio and Daniel Padilla. The film, which is coproduced by iWantTFC, premiered at the Locarno Film Festival and is competing in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival. (Story/Photos by: Kane Choa)
