Furniture maker Anita Taruc with MY PUHUNAN anchor Karen DavilaBroadcast journalist Karen Davila will share the story of how a furniture maker who grew up poor took inspiration from her carpenter father and put up a furniture business tomorrow (Sept 3) in “My Puhunan.”

Believing that education would help her succeed in life, Anita Taruc had to work to support herself just so she could finish college. Instead of looking for a job right after graduation, she opened her own furniture shop in Bocaue, Bulacan using a capital of P5,000.

Now, her creations can be found in mansions, restaurants, and hotels.
