Sana Maulit Muli returns in HDFans of the Aga Muhlach-Lea Salonga tandem are in for a treat as their hit movie, “Sana Maulit Muli,” is returning in high definition (HD).

Twenty years since its premiere, the Olivia Lamasan film has been digitally restored and remastered and will be screened on July 10 at the University of the Philippines Film Institute in Quezon City.

“Sana Maulit Muli” is the latest film classic to be restored by ABSCBN Film Archives, alongside “Maalaala Mo Kaya the Movie,” “Nagsimula sa Puso” and “Madrasta.”

In the last two years, old films that have been re-released in HD included “Himala,” “Oro, Plata, Mata,” “Ganito Kami Noon, Paano Kayo Ngayon” and “Virgin People.” In February, a trio of Vilma Santos movies also got special screenings—” Anak,” “Kapag Langit ang Humatol” and “Bata, Bata... Paano Ka Ginawa?”

ABS-CBN Film Archives has also restored more recent titles, such as “Miss You Like Crazy,” “One More Chance,” “Milan,” “Tanging Yaman,” “Anak,” “Feng Shui” and “My Amnesia Girl”—all hits produced by Star Cinema. (Source: www.abs-cbnnews.com)
