JoshLia brings “kilig” to cable TV: “Vince & Kath & James” airs on cinema one this sunday

Twitter

VINCE & KATH & JAMES BannerVINCE & KATH & JAMES BannerJoshua Garcia, Ronnie Alonte, and Julia Barretto are set to swoon viewers as their hit teen romance flick “Vince & Kath & James” premieres on Cinema One this Sunday (August 6).

“Vince & Kath & James” is Metro Manila Film Festival 2016’s overall top grosser. Directed by Theodore Boborol, who also directed “Just The Way You Are” and current blockbuster hit “Finally Found Someone,” the movie is based on the bestselling ABS-CBN Publishing book series written by Jenny Ruth Almocera or known online as Queen Elly.

Its story first became a hit last year when the writer presented her “romantic series” as screenshots of SMS exchanges between two teens, the characters of Vince and Kath, on social media.

In the movie, Vince (Joshua) secretly has feelings for his frenemy Kath (Julia). Problem arises when Kath catches the eye of Vince’s cousin, James (Ronnie). Vince then pretends to be James in texts, as a favor to his cousin, sending Kath pick-up lines while struggling to restrain his own feelings for her.

Don’t miss the cable TV premiere of “Vince & Kath & James” on Cinema One’s “Blockbuster Sundays” this August 6 at 8PM. Cinema One is available on SkyCable and Destiny Cable Digital Channel 56, and Destiny Analog Ch. 37. Like Cinema One on Facebook at facebook.com/Cinema1channel to view full schedule.
