Meet the Team of PAAFI

Maria Fe Beltran

Overall program coordinator

“Working for PAAFI is one of the best experiences in my life. I have been here for 22 years now and still feel the same fulfillment I felt during my early years; the feeling of happiness never ceases. The opportunity to work for the poor, to serve the children and to provide assistance to the needy has been given to me, which I am grateful for. As the overall program coordinator, I am able to interact with our beneficiaries, know firsthand information about them, and learn their hardships, progress and successes. These have provided continuous learning for me and a chance to improve myself, which I think is important. Every life that PAAFI has touched also touches my heart and soul deeply.”

Clemen Zerrudo

Administrative assistant

“I was once a beneficiary of PAAFI and I am forever blessed and thankful. I was in grade school when I became one of the scholars. I wrote letters every month to my sponsor and received my monthly allowance during our assembly in the parish. I also remember meeting with my sponsor, who had encouraged me so much to pursue my dreams and to do better at school. I had a difficult college life due to the financial limitations of my family, but the struggles and endurance paid off when I finished my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree. I see how PAAFI continuously serves and fulfills its commitment to provide assistance to more and more children every year, and I am proud that I am now part of it.”

Aiko Acuin, RSW

Social worker

“Helping people in need is more enjoyable when it comes from the bottom of your heart, because not all can lend a hand especially when they know that they do not receive anything in return. Being a social worker of PAAFI is an honor because I have the opportunity to help many underprivileged students go to school. My own little ways of helping have a big impact as I help them to pursue their dreams for themselves and for their families. A simple ‘thank you’ from PAAFI beneficiaries and from parents makes me realize my value and makes me want to stay longer with PAAFI. I hope many people will continue to help, and that our Almighty God will pay them in return.”
