Front and center with the November birthday celebrantsFront and center with the November birthday celebrantsAround 700 individuals took part in the Lopez Group HR Council-Lopez Lifelong Wellness Walk the Talk held at Rockwell Center on November 18, 2017.

Rockwell Land Corporation and Asian Eye Institute sponsored the walk.

The registration started at 6 a.m. As the participants trickled in, they were given bananas, mineral water, taho and disposable rain jackets.

The program began with the invocation and the recitation of the Lopez Credo and Values led by Rockwell senior vice presidents Ellen Almodiel and Val Soliven, respectively.

Rockwell vice president Beaver Lopez delivered the welcome remarks.

The November birthday celebrants were also invited to come on stage to be recognized.

Manol Ereñeta of Rockwell Club introduced Rockwell Atletica, a commercial gym that features cardio and weights, functional training and multipurpose studios.

To warm up, the participants took part in heart-pumping stretching exercises courtesy of Arnold Trinidad the Rockwell Club. They went on their way after the safety briefing given by Energy Development Corporation’s August Villalon.

Joel Nobleza and Thamar Olaivar of Rockwell served as the morning’s emcees.

During the walk proper, the participants were treated to a grand view of Rockwell Center’s serene environs.

A packed breakfast meal and a Rockwell Atletica drawstring bag were distributed, to the delight of the participants, after the 3.7-kilometer walk. (Story/Photos by: Gerbs de Castro)
