Matteo Guidicelli, JM de Guzman, Jessy Mendiola and Karylle led the 2,700 participants at the DZMM Takbo 2015 at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig on April 12.
JM and Jessy, who ran in the 5K race, led the gun start for the 21K category. Matteo, who has supported DZMM’s cause since 2013, was unable to run this year due to an injury but turned up to show his support.
Also taking part in the event were DZMM anchors Jasmin Romero, Gretchen Fullido, Marisciel Yao, Atty. Claire Castro, Cory Quirino, and Ahwel Paz and Winnie Cordero, who both hosted the postrace program.
The monthly Lopez Group HR Council-Lopez Lifelong Wellness Walk the Talk gave way to the activity, with an estimated xxx employees from various Lopez Group companies joining the fun run.
Meanwhile, the Philippine National Police’s Dandelion Bumahit was named the top finisher in the 21K category with a time of 1:23:31. He and two colleagues, including a Special Action Force (SAF) member, wore singlets that said “I’m running for justice for SAF.”
