Next Sunday, June 1, The Grove by Rockwell will host MUNI Market Day, a creative, collaborative event for mindful living in the metro.

This landmark event aims to educate consumers on ways to shop, eat and live more mindfully. It will also be an opportunity for visitors to know the stories behind local and/or eco-friendlier products through a fair that will combine workshops and conversations on upcycled crafting, healthful eating and cause-driven business.

MUNI Market Day will showcase makers of mindfully created goods and services, educate people on conscious consumption, increase their options, and bring together creative, like-minded individuals, who want to live more socially and environmentally-conscious lifestyles.

Here are three things you can do on MUNI Market Day:

One, buy locally made or eco-friendly products from brands like Rags2Riches, Lagu, Marsse, Tala Luna, Custom Made Crafts, and The Better Closet;

Two, eat healthy and local with groups like GK Enchanted Farm, Edgy Veggy, Good Food Co., Theo & Philo, Tsaa Daloy, KKK Coffee and Lotus Pod; and

Three, donate books for the Global Shapers Manila book drive (only used and new children's books, general reference books and unused coloring books will be accepted) for 200 libraries across the Philippines.

MUNI Market Day will be a whole day of learning and networking with the MUNI community, and finding ways to give back in your own way, all in the green surroundings of The Grove in Ortigas.
