The Lopez Group Comptrollers’ Circle recently participated in the Accountancy Week celebration organized by the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), the national organization of certified public accountants (CPAs) in the Philippines. This year’s celebration carried the theme “Elevating the Filipino CPA Towards Ethical Leadership and Global Excellence.” Representing the Lopez Group Comptrollers’ Circle were key executive officers Jingle Hernandez of Lopez Inc. (top photo, leftmost) and Jei-Jei Gertes of Third Generation Holdings Corporation (rightmost), who also currently serves as the PICPA national sectoral director for the commerce and industry sector. The Comptrollers’ Circle remains committed to supporting PICPA’s initiatives in promoting professional excellence, ethical leadership and the continued development of the accountancy profession in the country. Aside from Hernandez and Gertes, the executive core team of the Comptrollers’ Circle also includes Salvador G. Tirona and Lanie Caimol of Lopez Holdings Corporation, Mina Ubaña of First Philippine Holdings Corporation, Ellen Almodiel of Rockwell Land Corporation and Loraine Atienza of ABS-CBN.
