Security personnel deployed at the Amacan Geothermal Power Plant project in Davao de OroSecurityPersonnel

THE LINKED Group recently deployed 21 security personnel to the Energy Development Corporation-Amacan Geothermal Power Plant (EDC-AGPP) project in support of its rig mobilization and drilling activities in Maco, Davao de Oro.

EDC-AGPP arose when EDC expressed its need for additional security support and specialized training for CCTV operations. The LINKED Group immediately took action, beginning its manpower recruitment drive and securing formal confirmation of the request by July 15, 2025.

In preparation for the posting, the LINKED Group ensured operational readiness through on-site CCTV training for three guards on Aug. 24, 2025. The momentum continued with a multi-stakeholder briefing on Sept.15, 2025, aligning all parties with the rig mobilization schedule.

The deployment was executed in two phases: 11 security personnel successfully completed their orientation and were deployed for Segment 1 on Sept. 17, 2025, followed by 10 security personnel who underwent orientation and were deployed for Segment 2 on Sept. 20, 2025.

With all 21 security personnel now on-site, the LINKED Group reaffirms its commitment to providing reliable, professional and highly trained security personnel who play a crucial role in safeguarding EDC’s operations.

“We are honored that EDC has entrusted LINKED Group with this vital responsibility. This deployment is a testament to the confidence our partners place in our capabilities as well as the dedication of our team to meet every security challenge with excellence,” said Albert Baloloy, Mindanao regional manager, LINKED Group. This accomplishment strengthens the LINKED Group’s partnership with EDC and underscores the group’s growing presence in supporting critical energy and infrastructure projects nationwide.
