It offers services such as adult and pediatric eye checkups and diagnostic procedures as well as outpatient procedures like cataract surgery, pterygium removal and retina injections. The optical shop, on the other hand, offers frames, contact lenses and sunglasses for adults and children.
“With the opening of Eye-Site, we hope to encourage more Filipinos to take charge of their eye health by obtaining regular checkups for themselves and their loved ones,” said Asian Eye Institute president Benjamin Liboro. “Maintaining productivity and good quality of life requires clear vision. By making our trusted eye care services accessible to a broader market, we hope to touch and improve more lives.”
Liboro added: “For our first EyeSite branch, we believe that QualiMed Surgery Center in Fairview shares the same aspirations for the residents of the north. We consider QualiMed a valuable partner in achieving our mission.”
QualiMed, a network of healthcare facilities owned and operated by Mercado General Hospital Inc. in partnership with Ayala Land Inc., intends to make quality healthcare accessible and affordable to more Filipinos.
In line with its tagline “Serbisyong Sulit,” patients can look forward to innovative and expert eye care from EyeSite’s ophthalmologists, optometrists and nurses at affordable rates.
An example is EyeSite’s pioneering eye disease prescreening service. Through a simple 10-minute test, doctors and medical staff can detect if a patient has possible complications due to cataract, glaucoma, cornea or retina problems.
“Through this technology, we can help in preventing sight-threatening diseases that could potentially cripple the livelihood of the family. The cost and time spent to take the test is minimal but the benefit is far-reaching,” said Liboro.
EyeSite by Asian Eye Institute is open from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. from Monday to Sunday. For inquiries, call 364-3287 or 950-8366 or like EyeSitePH on Facebook.
