ABS-CBN LogoABS-CBN LogoMore Filipinos enjoy watching their favorite TV shows in crystal-clear picture and crisp sound as eight million ABSCBN TVplus boxes have been sold nationwide.

For four years now, families enjoy more options as TVplus continues to improve its lineup of channels and shows. Today, these channels are among the most watched in digital terrestrial television (DTT) households, according to Kantar Media’s Q2 2019 data.

CineMo is the third mostwatched channel, while YeY is the fourth most-watched channel among DTT households nationwide. Following closely in the fifth to eighth spots are ABS-CBN S+A, Movie Central, Asianovela Channel and Jeepney TV.

With eight million boxes sold, ABS-CBN is on track in leading the Philippines’ migration from analog to digital before the government-mandated deadline to all broadcasting networks to switch to digital by 2023.

In June 2019, ABS-CBN also launched the mobile version of TVplus called ABSCBN TVplus Go, which enables Android smartphone users to watch Kapamilya programs anywhere in TVplus coverage areas.

ABS-CBN TVplus has 16 coverage areas: Metro Manila, Bulacan, Batangas, Nueva Ecija, Pangasinan, Rizal, Laguna, Pampanga, Tarlac, Benguet, Cavite, Metro Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo, Bacolod and Davao. (Story/Photos by: Kane Choa)
