The Lopez Group Comptrollers’ Circle held on December 1 its 2022 accounting and tax updates and 23rd general assembly. Speakers provided by SGV & Co. covered various current topics to equip the more than 200 participants with the necessary knowledge for the evolving workplace.
Lopez Holdings Corporation president and chief operating officer Salvador Tirona welcomed the participants and SGV & Co. vice chairman and deputy managing partner Maria Vivian Ruiz thanked the group for a very productive partnership.
The technical updates were presented by SGV partners: market trends by Smith Lim, risk management and supply chain disruptions by Ian Canlas and Jan Ray Manlapaz, accounting updates by Ysmael Acosta and Edith Estacio, tax updates by Frances Villamayor and year-end reminders also by Estacio.
The participants also actively joined and enjoyed the icebreaker sessions provided by SGV. The virtual Christmas fellowship followed in the afternoon after the technical session.
The Comptrollers’ Circle is a business excellence initiative that has continually improved the Lopez Group’s management information systems since 1999.
