Vice Admiral Caesar Bernard Valencia, PMA superintendent, welcomed INAEC president Benjamin R. Lopez. The team’s visit was especially meaningful as INAEC general manager Dexter Ampong, along with several of INAEC’s pilots including Capt. Pepito Plamenco and Capt. Jonahs Liwag, are PMA alumni.
The highlight of the visit was the tour of the Lopez Hall of Leaders, a tribute to individuals who have made and are set to make remarkable contributions in the service of the Filipino people. Built in 2008, Lopez Hall was made possible through the generous donation of the Lopez Group led by then chairman Oscar M. Lopez. It serves as a place of inspiration, honoring the values of leadership, discipline and service that are instilled in PMA graduates.
As the team walked through Lopez Hall, they were reminded of the enduring standards of excellence and honor that they strive to uphold, both in their aviation careers and their broader commitment to national service.
“This visit underscores the shared core values between INAEC and the PMA—integrity, nationalism and a relentless pursuit of excellence. As both institutions continue to uphold these principles, INAEC’s relationship with the PMA demonstrates our united dedication to achieving greater success, not only in aviation but in the service of the nation,” said Ampong.
The occasion also emphasized the importance of fostering strong connections between the private sector and institutions like the PMA. By building mutual respect and cooperation, these ties help support the country’s development across various sectors, paving the way for a brighter future.
