Domingo Dulay Jr. to celebrate their hard-earned skills and dedication to life-saving missionsEffective disaster response requires skill, strategy and rapid decision-making—qualities that can be developed only through rigorous training.

The Disaster Response Operations Training, held in two batches from Feb. 11-17, 2025 and Feb. 25-March 3, 2025, was designed to equip first responders with the expertise needed to handle collapsed structure rescues and other critical emergency scenarios. Organized by the LINKED Group in partnership with the 525th Engineering Battalion of the Philippine Army, this program focused on hands-on, competency-based learning.

Over the course of seven days, participants engaged in intensive training across four key areas: high-anglerope rescues, structural shoring, search-and-rescue mapping and victim extrication. The program began with high-angle rope rescue and knot-tying techniques, where trainees mastered secure rigging methods to extract victims from elevated or unstable environments safely. This was followed by shoring and structural stabilization, which provided knowledge on reinforcing collapsed buildings to prevent further damage and ensure safer rescue operations.

Midway through the training, participants were introduced to search mapping and victim marking, where they learned strategic techniques to locate and identify survivors efficiently. The final segment of the course focused on breaching and extrication, where responders were trained in the use of specialized tools to penetrate debris and safely retrieve trapped individuals. The Disaster Response Operations Training concluded with a high-pressure simulation, allowing trainees to apply their newly acquired skills in a realistic disaster scenario.

At the LINKED Group, a culture of excellence and continuous learning is upheld, ensuring that the workforce remains highly skilled and adaptable in emergency response and security operations. This training is one of the many enhancement programs the LINKED Group offers to its employees as part of their professional growth and career development. By investing in specialized training, the LINKED Group empowers its team to uphold the highest standards of service, prepared to face any challenge with expertise and dedication.

At the LINKED Group, the security personnel are trained first responders, equipped to handle emergencies and safeguard lives.
