In addition to passing the audit with zero major or minor nonconformities, TÜV NORD cited several positive aspects that reflect the company’s strong performance, digital transformation and operational readiness.
The audit was conducted face-to-face by a five-member TÜV NORD audit team. One auditor visited T1 Transport’s equipment yard in Tanauan, Batangas, to assess field operations, while the remaining auditors reviewed processes across all departments at the head office in Parañaque.
Among the highlights of the audit report were the company’s 6% revenue increase in calendar year 2024, which TÜV NORD noted as a reflection of consistent growth and business stability.
T1 Transport general manager Levi Dy said: “T1 Transport has always been one of the units that consistently hits its targets year after year. We started with just P40 million, and now we’re well on our way to reaching P400 million. This kind of growth didn’t happen overnight—it’s the result of years of hard work and dedication from a team that has stayed the course since 2014. I’m proud of how far we’ve come.”
T1 Transport was commended for its digitalization initiatives, particularly the use of e-invoicing systems and GPS technology for dispatch monitoring. The audit team further recognized the company’s robust information security practices, especially in the management of electronic files and measures to prevent confidentiality breaches, data misuse or integrity issues.
Operational improvements were also noted, such as the addition of new resources, including three tractor heads and four trailers, which demonstrated proactive efforts to meet growing demand. The implementation of an enterprise resource planning or ERP system to monitor incoming and outgoing materials was likewise seen as a strong point in the company’s process control.
T1 Transport joins T1 Rentals—ISO-certified since 2020—in upholding First Balfour’s high standards for quality management. The ISO 9001 certification affirms not just compliance, but a culture of excellence that prioritizes customer satisfaction, accountability and future-ready operations.
