The Linked Group’s BCMS awareness training was conducted on June 9 and July 4, 2025, with 39 participants in Batch 1 and 42 participants in Batch 2. Both sessions took place at the TGHC Building in Quezon City.
The primary objectives of the training were to enhance participants’ understanding of the importance and benefits of business continuity management (BCM), the key requirements for establishing a business continuity management system (BCMS) and how to effectively integrate BCMS into organizational operations.
The training was facilitated by Eduard Afable, Catherine Corro and Carolina Bautista from BRS Certification Services Phils. Co. Ltd.
Afable opened the sessions with an overview of BCMS, its key components, and ISO 22301:2019 standards. He emphasized the significance of leadership, the need for clearly defined policies, and the roles and responsibilities of employees in maintaining business continuity.
Corro discussed risk identification, assessment of opportunities and strategies for creating effective business continuity objectives. She also detailed the business impact analysis, business continuity strategies and recovery processes.
The sessions included interactive workshops where participants collaborated to identify risks, analyze impacts and develop action plans for mitigation.
The completion of the BCMS awareness training marks a significant milestone in the LINKED Group’s ongoing commitment to enhancing organizational resilience and preparedness. By equipping participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and implement effective BCM practices, the group reaffirms its dedication to protecting its people, operations and stakeholders from potential disruptions. This training serves as a vital step toward fostering a proactive culture of continuity, ensuring the organization’s stability, adaptability and long-term success.
