FORMER “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” housemate Carmelle Collado turns up the confidence with her first original solo offering, “Morena.”

The empowering pop-dance track highlights the importance of loving one’s skin and championing Filipina beauty.

It was composed and produced by ABS-CBN Music creatives, content, and operations head Jonathan Manalo, with cowriting credits from Star Music artist Jeremy G and WRIVE members Russu Laurente, Ishiro Incapas and Asi Gatdula.

Before captivating viewers with her “PBB” stint, Carmelle gained recognition in 2019 as a runner-up in “The Voice Kids Philippines” under Bamboo’s team. She returned stronger last year as the first grand champion of “Tawag ng Tanghalan: The School Showdown.”

As a recording artist, she released the cover singles “Maalaala Mo Kaya” and “Stay.” Carmelle also participated in the anniversary single series of prolific composer Soc Villanueva, where she performed “Unti-unti” with Kevin Yadao.
