KNOWLEDGE Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI) continued to expand its impact and reach this month through partnerships and programs supporting learners, teachers and communities.

KCFI scored another twin victory at the KBP Golden Dove Awards on Sept. 30, marking its second consecutive year of wins at the award-giving body. This year, “Kinder Yes!” and “WOW” received Best Children’s Program and Best Culture and Arts Program, respectively. Coproduced with Bloomberry Cultural Foundation Inc. (BCFI), “Kinder Yes!” introduces young learners to foundational concepts in literacy, numeracy, environmental care and disaster preparedness through engaging activities, songs and dances.

The “WOW” episode on Kidapawan, coproduced with First Gen Renewables and hosted by KCFI vice president Edric Calma, showcases Kidapawan’s rich culture and biodiversity as well as local and corporate efforts to conserve its natural heritage. “WOW” marks its second consecutive win in its category at the Golden Dove Awards.

On Oct. 1-2, KCFI joined other Lopez Group foundations and corporate social responsibility (CSR) arms at the League of Corporate Foundations (LCF) 2026 CSR Expo Collab-A-Fair. Held at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati, the event celebrated LCF’s 30th anniversary with the theme “Adapt, Align, Accelerate.”

Visitors engaged with the Knowledge-on-the-Go game at KCFI’s booth by rolling the dice and answering subject-based trivia while learning more about KCFI’s offline learning solutions, Knowledge Channel TV (KC TV) and the Knowledge Channel Portable Media Library (KC PML), and its capacity-building programs, Learning Effectively through Enhanced and Evidence-based Pedagogies and Knowledge Channel Early Childhood Care and Education (KCare). Beyond KCFI’s booth, visitors discovered the diverse initiatives and efforts of Lopez Group foundations and CSR arms and other organizations.

Entering new partnerships was another key highlight marked by the signing of a memorandum of agreement with Rockwell Land Corporation and its partners, Digee Glass Corporation, ASDEC Builders and Ground Specialists Inc., on Oct. 6. The partnership is for the conduct of a KCare program, which is anchored on the Nurturing Care Framework and the Early Childhood Care and Development Council’s National Early Learning Framework.

Bringing multimedia learning resources to 800 classrooms in Quezon City, KCFI and BCFI on Oct. 1 launched 215 new episodes of KCFI video lessons featuring “Kinder Yes!,” “Musikantahan” and “Ready, Set, Read!” alongside the turnover of television sets and KC PML packages to the Quezon City government’s child development centers (CDCs) and public elementary schools.

Meanwhile, following the launch and turnover in Zamboanga City and Isabela City, KCFI and BPI Foundation (BPIF) brought multimedia learning resources and financial education to Iloilo and Guimaras on Sept. 22 and Cagayan de Oro on Oct. 8 through the “FinEd Unboxed” school caravan.

The initiative included the turnover of KC TV packages for high schools and the launch of two new episodes of “Estudyantipid,” a financial literacy video series produced in partnership with BPIF. The new episodes cover fraud and scams in online spaces, gross profit and net profit. On Sept. 15, S&P Global volunteers joined KCFI at La Paz Child Development Center in Makati City for art activities with children and the turnover of a KC PML package. The partnership will bring a total of five KC PML packages to CDCs in select areas—one in Makati City and four in Tanauan, Batangas.
