Nurjehan Maria Dayrit, First Gen Corporation vice president and compliance officer, was appointed chief risk officer (CRO) of the company on July 25, 2025.
The appointment was approved by the First Gen board of directors, as endorsed by the nomination and governance committee.
Dayrit joined First Gen in April 2016 as senior risk management officer. Before joining the company, she served as deputy head of the risk management group of Metrobank. She also had stints with Australia and New Zealand Bank, PLDT and Citibank. She holds BS Economics and MBA degrees from UP Diliman.
Dayrit takes over from senior vice president (SVP) and CRO Renato Castillo, who stepped down as part of succession planning in First Gen’s risk management group. He will continue to serve as SVP.
