ON June 21-22, 2025, a comprehensive security survey and risk assessment training was held to enhance the competency of the LINKED Group’s field officers and area supervisors in identifying, analyzing and mitigating security risks.
The two-day training provided the 45 participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience essential to improving operational security.
Day 1 featured a classroom based session focusing on core concepts such as risk assessment methodologies, incident response, security planning, and the use of modern security technologies, including surveillance systems and access control. Participants explored four core modules: fundamentals of security survey and risk assessment; identifying and assessing security risks; conducting a security survey and site in spection; and reporting and mitigating security risks.
The session was facilitated by in-house officers, including Ramon Abad III, a seasoned security professional with over two decades of experience in the security industry, and Christian Lee Marvin Turla, a risk assessment specialist known for his expertise in security surveys. Their in-depth knowledge and realworld insights added significant value to the learning process.
Day 2 was dedicated to practical application. Participants conducted an actual site security survey, evaluated threats and vulnerabilities and developed tailored mitigation strategies. This handson exercise allowed attendees to implement what they had learned in a real-world setting.
The security survey and risk assessment training strengthens individual capability and supports the LINKED Group’s broader mission of proactive and responsive security management.
