The MOU signifies a shared commitment to advancing inclusive market access, strengthening community enterprises and promoting sustainable livelihood development in FP Island’s host communities across off-grid areas.

The agreement was signed by gardo del Rosario and Agrabah Ventures CEO Joselito Ocol Jr. FP Island operates solar microgrids and distribution utilities in off-grid municipalities such as Caramoan and Garchitorena in Camarines Sur.

Beyond electrification, FP Island’s corporate social responsibility program drives community enterprise development, ensuring that access to clean energy translates into economic opportunity and social resilience.

Through this partnership, Agrabah Ventures, a pioneering agritech and marketplace platform connecting farmers and fisherfolk directly to institutional buyers, will work with FP Island to capacitate local people’s organizations in improving productivity, logistics and access to sustainable markets.

“We see energy as a platform for development—a way to unlock economic activity, strengthen resilience and enable people to chart their own path to progress.

This partnership aligns with FP Island’s vision of powering progress in our communities.

By combining our clean energy solutions with Agrabah’s agribusiness integration and market linkage support, we’re helping local seaweed farmers gain fair market access and strengthen their livelihoods,”

said Del Rosario. Ocol echoed the sentiment, saying, “This is a testament that partnerships can help communities because it takes a lot of effort, and no single entity can do it alone. By working together, we increase the chance of progress in the area.”
